I never used a case until the glass backs were introduced. Mine felt magnetically drawn to concrete sidewalks.
I checked this morning. All models besides the high capacity 512, TBs available for preorder and pickup today in store.

Mine should be getting delivered today in Australia. But Australia Post now showing expected delivery Monday 23rd. Hoping it is just a mistake.
As always, mine will arrive at my house at 5:15pm when I'm already at the bar drinking. Then I'll get home and set up my new one while I'm feeling a bit happy. 😂
Dude cancel it. You can literally walk into any store and they are all available besides the high capacity ones > 512
I would but the depot it is at is around 3kms from my house and I live in a regional area. Fingers crossed they pull their finger out and deliver that puppy.
I've dropped mine a few times. Just from a few feet up but enough to scratch it up at least if not for the case. It feels fine with the case and I see no point in showing it like some sort of jewelry. I have a wallet case so I always have what I need in hand.
I'm not a showy sort of person. No need whatsoever to show how pretty it is. Besides EVERYONE has something similar anyway.
I might consider that if I found a decent wallet case that was clear. Though my nice leather wallet case has its own more subdued classy look to it.
That's normal. In-store stock is always allocated separately from online delivery stock.
Our stores in NZ (Non Apple) haven’t stocked ANY plus or max models. I was hoping to just pick one up today. Really frustrating.
Japan here - my iPhone 16 Pro Max says it's out for delivery. 👍🏻👍🏻
Easy pass on the 16 since my 15 Pro Max looks like new and I see no reason to upgrade for the first time in years. As for the case, I never dropped my phone but I know the day I decide to not have a case, I will drop it. 🤷🏻♂️
I should have specified the new, latest generation photographic styles that are only available on 16 models.
And I think more people used it than you think. My mom (non very techy) kept complaining that her iPhone photos were not as vivid as some other phones' pics. She set her style to vivid and she's much happier. She doesn't have to think about it and now it just does it.
However the new granular control of the new styles is pretty wild, and I can definitely see myself setting a particular style for my photos.
I miss the plastic back and rounded edges of the 3GS. Plastic may not seem premium, but I still think that was the most beautiful model, and felt nicest in the hand. [I know I'm in a small minority here]
Mine has a delivery as far out as 11 Oct, not an issue at all. I’m not in a rush. I’m just watching a lot of review videos and tips and tricks.

Some vocally loud voices are under the impression that their must upgrade every year. I suspect Apple is delaying or trickling innovation to align with its green wash message. Their know you going to upgrade eventually which provides a nice even revenue stream rather that blips.Cant tell if you are envious or just being sarcastic

I said the same thing. But I still got sucked in! Looking forward to the bigger screen haha! Switched up the colour this time (natural titanium) too. I have always gone black/grey.
