iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Pre-Orders Start Friday, September 13

Is anybody else seeing a One-Time Activation charge of $35 (for AT&T) for selecting financing through Apple Card, as opposed to full payment up front? I might just try my luck at the store and do the trade-in right then vs mail it in and hope for the credit.
 
I’ve seen a few videos and read a lot of posts here and elsewhere. I’m still undecided on upgrading from my 11Pro.

Does anyone know when is the earliest these new phones will be available at an Apple Store to check it out in person?

The camera is the best part! A new button and zoom for the smaller Pro? Take my money. Also I was going to buy the phone anyway so it's just a great bonus. But phones are boring now....it's where we are. I mean they are still crazy amazing but the rate of change is boring.

Right… so we’re talking about people pre-ordering / buying the new iPhone, that would suggest those people are getting a new device right away, no? And I would bet that is the case for 90%+ of Apple iPhone trade ins. So the point is moot, people are going to get a refund not get gift cards.

I’ve pre-pre-ordered the Pro already, to upgrade my 15 Pro. Photography is the main reason I buy pro, and I am definitely looking forward to the camera button and the better telephoto lens. I’m upgrading storage too which is getting low.

And, and this is a real sob story, I have to replace my phone because my son needs it to replace his ancient one 😆

Staying with the 12 pro max until Apple reduces the Dynamic Island next year.
 
Design Changes iPhone to iPhone 3G to iPhone 4 to iPhone 5 to iPhone 6 to iPhone X to iPhone 12...still the same design now...internals is always different in every year...just like cars...major redesigns every 6 years (except Toyota Camry 2015 to 2024 same style...ugh)...Major tech companies have so much pressure to be innovated every year...from consumers, competition, and shareholders....CHILL!

Okay, already done. This pre-preorder was the easiest thing ever. Open app, tap "pay with Apple Pay" and done.
 
Strange that it only ordered the phone and not the charger that was in my cart so now i have to do a separate order
