“Still a screen with round corners like the CRT monitors and of course the notch.”

may be the notch will be gone by iPhone 25
Round corners is in Apples DNA. They have actively said that it makes the device feel friendlier. The rounded edges makes it feel more natural. Nothing in nature has sharp edges. This is a deliberate design consideration. Same with their computers screens too.

BRING BACK TOUCH ID!

I will not rest until we have our right to touch our phones restored!

THUMB PRINT! THUMB PRINT! THUMB PRINT!
The removal and continual omission of Touch ID on iPhones, while simultaneously being included on Macs and iPads, shows just how much Tim Cook is not a products person.

Cook is a mediocre MBA suit who cares more about maximizing profits and pleasing shareholders than about proving products with the best functionality.

Maybe it will be for screenshots/screen recording? That would be cool!

The current way of taking them is awkward, having to readjust your whole grip on the phone. Plus since it’s the volume button right across from the power one, I inadvertently take screenshots sometimes when I’m just trying to lock my phone, especially with a case on where you have to squeeze a little harder

If it’s customizable that would be even better!

100%, I was just about to make a similar reply about how it’s more organic with rounded edges.

Square-cornered screens look so cold and outdated now. I wish I could get a TV with rounded edges tbh. Today’s TVs look so ugly in a room, they don’t blend into the decor in the slightest

Maybe a bigger focus on Camera's and photographs in the next round - act like a "shutter" button.
The volume buttons act like a shutter button. And I have my action button set as a camera button, and when the camera is open it acts as I shutter button(haven’t tried it with other settings)

I have never once wished to have touchID over FaceId, even when wearing ski goggles and a ski mask, I’m wearing gloves. I have wished for landscape FaceID, and that came true so I’m pretty happy.

Edit:
I'm not sure what part of this there is to disagree with? That I never wished for TouchID over FaceID, that I'm happy with it working in landscape. If your going to disagree, please comment to explain yourself.

If this were attributed to Gurman or Kuo, I'd say Apple security has not only identified their leaks but quietly flipped and/or impersonated them just to screw with the rumor mill

So MR can’t tell it’s going to be used to take photos like a point n shoot? I would anticipate they’d just move the action button from one side to the other, otherwise it’s too many buttons.

Replacing the mute switch (that allowed you to accurately mute the sound, in the dark, simply by feel) with the Action Button was the biggest iPhone 15 downgrade.

They could rescue that by not only bringing it back, but also keeping the Action Button as an extra button, AND, making the mute switch into a programmable Action Switch, so those that don't use the mute functionality, can give it some other purpose.

E.g. I have a friend who switches his phone on and off from work mode, and sometimes forgets, so this would make it easy for him to check.

Oh, and One More Thing...
Put the on/off button back on top of the phone. Again, renabling easy control of buttons by feel without looking.

It’s as if they’ve said something to personally offend you that you feel the need to defend Apple as if it is a family member and make a comment telling these “haters” to get a life.

Genuinely curious to know why it bothers you so much if someone makes a negative comment about a company that couldn’t care less about what you think.
1 - I was just responding to someone who said "where have all the Apple fans gone?"
2 - To answer your genuine curiosity with your loaded and bait worthy question, I answer because I like to call out stupid comments, disguised as knowledge, based on biased opinion, and not facts.

I am not sure where you get this ridiculous notion that was offended. Please enlighten how, without resorting to pointless opinions not based on facts. Where did I give a single example where I was personally offended?

I usually defend Apple, and I’m still here.

Objectively -
Don't need or want another button.
Irrelevant if it’s haptic, solid state or whatever.

I don’t base what I like or don’t like on 50/50 rumours as if it’s a fact.

Dont care about the lightning cable on accessories. As someone else pointed out. Charging once every 2 months is not a big deal. My Eve Room (temp gauge) still charges with micro USB!

I'm interested that the Apple haters are on here…. All the time. Completely subjective complaints with little or no substance. Like it’s their life mission to put down Apple. It’s rather pathetic. I say "get a life"
Probably 95% of the haters posting on MR own and use an Apple device daily. Therefore, they cannot be haters. They are just very critical which is fine, i think.

Looks like there will be some significant changes from 15 Pro/Pro Max models. Capacitive camera button will be interesting
