Yes, sharp if you stick you finger in the holes 😵
I really don't think it would be any problem though, my OCD was just not happy about it.

I would assume it would, although I can’t guarantee it would because the veil has a textured back. Also there is no lip if you use a screen protector, just FYI. If you place it face down, it slides around on the screen protector lol

Is there a consensus for the best minimalist case? I’m thinking of either a banks or pitaka, I don’t want a plastic case like the veil.

No, some people like Benks, some (like me) like Pitaka more. But there is no universal answer.
