Wait, now I'm thoroughly confused. Wouldn't a river rock be worn down perfectly smooth while sandpaper would be, well, sandpaper? The latter feel is what I love about the Owl and now I wish the Synhesis had come out with a CC button cover because that's the one that the Owl seems to mimick. Anyway, are we saying that the sheath is slippery or sandpapery??

In my opinion, the overall finish on the TineeOwl is more like the Sheath, but with the addition of the small bumps on the side borrowed from the Synthesis.
Yeah, I think that combination would be my perfect case. Oh well. Still loving the Owl.

I thought this case would be a hit. Not a grease pit. Oh well, already ordered.
Although I might have time to ask them to swap for a Sheath since it’s 110 weeks before delivery.
I went ahead and preordered black paragon. I’ve already said that I’ve lost patience with Caudabe waiting for Cc button. Only thing that could get me back was Black Paragon. Got to keep the word.
It's a shame that Caudabe did not give us precise cutouts around the camera lenses with the new CC cases
