iPhone 16/Plus iPhone 16 plus?

Considering getting a 16 plus, I feel my max is too heavy for my finger issues. How are folks enjoying their plus'? I think they look really, really nice! Also like the camera placement being vertical. Love the price of $899 as well. Only fear is will it work as well as a pro, I think for the most part it should except for one part of the zoom on camera. Just want to hear some 'real world' advise from current users.

Bad take. Weight is the biggest gain and unless you need "pro" features some folks just want a bigger screen.

OP - as long as you don't mind the additional lens and promotion then the Plus is a fine phone and weighs just as much as the smaller pro. Personally, I was deciding between the Plus and small Pro but since the screen size differences are .4" and the weight was the same I decided to go with the smaller dimensions of the Pro as I can easily one hand it vs the Plus which requires two hand operation most of the time.

yes good perspective, they are the same weight, and that's my limit so it is between the two... i still find the regular pro screen a bit small for content consumption, movies, etc.
 
I just got the plus coming from a 12 mini and have similar RSI needs. The phone is easier to hold with two hands horizontally but when I hold it vertically I still catch myself holding it with my pinky pretty often. I don’t love that but it’s only been a week. I’m hoping I develop different muscle memory soon. I like typing speed with two thumbs but it’s less strain to hold the phone in one hand and slide to type with the other. Horizontally it’s too much of a reach with two thumbs so I only hold it in that orientation for videos.

yeah the 15% lighter i do believe makes a difference.. surprised how LITTLE the 16 plus is talked about here in these forums, yet, at apple I see many people buying them...

Currently using the 16 Plus coming from a 16 Pro Max and gotta say the Plus feels so much better. Basically a lighter and thinner pro max. Enjoying it a lot. Debating which one to keep now lol

haha, using a case? To me the only choices are 16 plus or 16 pro, given they are the exact same weight!

No case. Naked. The smaller 16 Pro def feels heavier than the 16 Plus even if they weigh the same from the lower density and better weight distribution of the 16 Plus. I’ve also had the 16 Pro in the past.

Coming from a 15 pro max, I'm enjoying my 16 plus. I dont miss the screen real estate, and appreciate the smaller form factor.

If the 16 Plus had ProMotion and AOD I’d switch to the Ultramarine 16 plus because I LOVE that colour. But alas. Maybe next year
