What does it matter the color of the phone itself? Who uses the phone without a case? I think I ordered a (what Apple has marketing name for) black phone, but I’d have to take the case off to be sure.
I prefer to use no case. The case, even thin ones to me, make the phone feel bulkier. I also want to enjoy holding the phone.

Using a case reminds me of when my mother would use a cover on the settee to keep it nice and then at the end of the settees life you have perfect material but knackered springs. I get the use case but it’s not one I need.

I do use a case now however, but that’s only because the phones started to be really slippy and they’d slip off the arm of the settee without one. Make the phone non slip and I’ll ditch the case again.

Apple's upcoming iPhone 16 Pro models could come in all-new "Desert Titanium" and "Titanium Gray" color options, according to the leaker known as "Majin Bu."

Mock-up of the alleged new iPhone 16 Pro color options shared by Majin Bu.

In a new post on X (formerly Twitter), Majin Bu said that the "Desert Titanium" will be similar to the Gold color option offered on the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022, but deeper and heavier. On the other hand, "Titanium Gray" will apparently be similar to the shade of Space Gray offered on the iPhone 6 in 2014.

The iPhone 15 Pro comes in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium. It is worth noting that there is no ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ with a Gold finish. Gold was available through 2013's ‌iPhone‌ 5S to 2017's ‌iPhone‌ 8, and then on 2018's ‌iPhone‌ XS to 2022's ‌iPhone 14‌ Pro. The reintroduction of a gold-like shade with the iPhone 16 Pro seems very plausible as a result.

Apple's "Pro" iPhone models have always been available in no more than four color options at launch, usually with basic black, white, and gold options alongside a more striking color like green, blue, or purple. This means that while Black Titanium and White Titanium are highly likely to be carried over from the iPhone 15 Pro to the iPhone 16 Pro, the continuation of Blue Titanium and Natural Titanium is far from certain. It is possible that these color options may be discontinued to make way for "Desert Titanium" and "Titanium Gray," especially since "Titanium Gray" appears to be very similar to Natural Titanium.

This is the first rumor about the iPhone 16 Pro's color options and Majin Bu has a mixed track record for revealing accurate information about Apple's plans. Nevertheless, more information is likely to emerge in the coming months as we approach launch.

Titanium grey would look awesome! But I will still choose my favorite color: white which goes well with anything and is the brightest/shiniest color above all😊 Keep calm and be happy with your color choice! 😊 Life is too short to be unhappy 😊 Enjoy your choices to the fullest!🎊😊

Guess I didn't read the article well enough, hopefully, the Blue Titanium will be continued with the 16 line, if so that the color I'm looking forward to.

I use a 15 Pro without a case. We’re few but we’re out there.

Your larger point is noted: most users throw their phones in a case from the jump, making device color much less of a topic of discussion than you find in these forums.

Phil was right. His ass can’t innovate.

I like more color options.

Not complaining.

Can we get a glowing apple and the back? We’ve been asking for this since the first Apple phone.

They should do a dark orangey red colour called "Mars" and introduce it with The Planets Suite for Orchestra, op. 32: I. Mars, the Bringer of War.

They already have a Mars themed wallpaper, so why not?

Exactly my thought. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is purple but you’d never know with the case it’s in.
Not everyone uses a case tho
I don't like living that dangerously ;)

To all those saying, "What does the color matter. I ALWAYS PUT MY PHONE IN A CASE!!!"

Clear and translucent cases exist. I have my gold iPhone 13 PM in a translucent case and the color of the phone comes through subtly (without it being a clear case), which I love.

ALSO, in case you hadn't noticed there is this HUGE square on the back of all our phones where the camera is that is usually not covered by a case and differs depending on the color of your phone. That camera island color is absolutely visible for most people using a case.

I'm so hopeful that this rumor means we are getting a true WARM gold color back on the pro phones. The iPhone 16 Pro/Max is sounding fantastic and I can't wait to get mine.
