There is nothing wrong with charging overnight, however since iPhones have such poor battery life
As a general statement this is false.
many people need to charge again at some point during the day
My 15pm lasts me all day.
even if the phone was fully charged in the morning.
Too much a gross generalization.
And during the day nobody can plug the phone for hours, one needs the phone to charge fast so they can get on with their life and business.
I am glad my 15pm has fast charging. Also one can carry a battery pack slightly bigger than the size of a finger that can give a fast charge.

Yes, memory is a problem for very recent phones that can’t run Apple intelligence due to insufficient RAM
OK. Show me one report where the RAM was a problem for the phone user. Even with AI, which really does not yet fully exist on the iPhone. I know dozens of people with iPhones and memory has never been a problem. Storage maybe, but not OS memory.

I would really like to see what the person was doing that caused RAM issues for IOS in the current slate of iPhones.

Really? I go for two days without having to charge my phone (iPhone 15 PRO). Of course I am not yakking on my phone 80% of the day or spending my entire waking life sending text messages.

I pretty clearly recall 1. The announcement of this rumor, and 2. Multiple subsequent proclamations that it was actually a new feature of the pro models, so calling it a rumor again is a really strange way of backpedaling. Really, let’s just call it gaslighting.
Calling it a rumor is the right thing to do given that's all it was. People get stuff wrong when they're guessing. Any proclamation about unreleased products not coming directly from Apple is still a rumor. Don't fall for it next time, is all I can suggest. So far you've trotted out false advertising and gaslighting - I'd suggest you keep in mind where you're getting your information.

Apple will eventually catch up to other manufacturers, it'll just take them a little while. Certainly handy though and it's one thing i miss off my old Oneplus 8T, a quick 10/15 mins would get you nearly 50% charge.

I will saw my non apple phone charges really quickly, but it’s battery has plummeted in quality and it’s only 1 year old.

Meanwhile my iPhone 12 Pro is still humming along all this time later. Slow charging, less heat?
