I hate it when there’s a difference in camera between pro and pro max. I don’t want a huge phone but I do want the best camera when I upgrade.
Slow mo video recording, for example, hasn’t improved in years so they are not even fully focusing on improving all the camera features.Better speakers? Nah. Increased refresh rate? Nope. A couple of hours extra battery capacity? No. More RAM? No… BETTER CAMERAS!
I think that is the handle to the replaceable Thorium power-pack.it looks like it has a mini carry handle too.
I'm not sure about the iPhone, but I'm pretty sure Apple is going to keep 8GB RAM as the base for every computer it makes through the year 2060.I heard the iPhone 19 will have an even better camera, and possibly a faster processor... but we are not so sure about iPhone 21... there is a rumour that it will have a slower processor... but iPhone 22 will be faster again, but slower than iPhone 20.. but with 16 GB of RAM it will be like 32 GB on PC.
you heard it here first!
Yeah this is what I heard, it’s about time having at the moment 88% on my Apple Pro Max 14. it’s only a year and a few months is extremely maddening. The sooner the better they redesign the battery.Apple is also working on new and improved battery technology to replace the decades-old Lithium technology. We've maxed out its usefulness and it's time for something new. I really hope that Apple is the company that brings the next big battery tech to the market.
So the polar opposite here. I much prefer curved rails and screens due to the insane size of phones nowadays. If I'm forced to get a huge brick for 5x zoom, the far superior design is curves that make the phone feel smaller and more manageable in-hand. The Pro Max models are ergonomic disasters design-wise.That would be a shame given the current direction of everyone going flat again (which is the superior screen design).
This just in, water wet. Next on news 11.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a bigger, more advanced main camera sensor to deliver improved photography and videography capabilities, according to new information coming out of Asia.

The claim comes from "Digital Chat Station," a Weibo user responsible for a range of details about the camera technology of upcoming iPhone models. According to the latest post on the matter, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be an "image flagship," suggesting that it will be heavily focused on its camera capabilities.
The device's main camera will apparently feature a customized 48-megapixel Sony IMX903 sensor with advanced features like a stacked design for better performance, a 14-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) for high-quality image data conversion, and Digital Gain Control (DCG) for better dynamic range and noise control.
The Weibo user also reiterated their previous claim that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a 12% larger camera sensor that is 1/1.14-inches in size. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro models currently feature a 1/1.28-inch sensor. A larger sensor could improve the main iPhone camera's dynamic range and background blur, as well as substantially enhance low-light photography capabilities since a bigger surface area can capture more light with the same shutter speed and aperture.
The leaker also mentioned in passing that the next-generation high-end iPhones will feature a slightly more curved screen design, iterating on the design introduced with the iPhone 15 lineup last year. Corroborating information shared by MacRumors last year, the post added that the iPhone 16 Pro models will have virtually the same thickness as their predecessors.
Digital Chat Station accurately revealed that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus would feature a slightly smaller 48-megapixel sensor than the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max last year, as well as the display panel design of the iPhone 12 back in 2020. The iPhone 16 lineup is expected to debut in the fall.

I’ve seen this comment since the 13. People saying “ I’ll hold out till the 15 or 16” and now 17!!!!I might hold off for the 17 pro max given any design change even a slight screen cruve will help differentiate my 12 pro max.
But the big factor i want to hold off for is the face id camera under screen.
For myself this will be the longest period, i have ever gone without updating my iphone.
Since Cook took the helm & IVE left changing the aesthetics is no longer a thing. Apple now prefers to tweak their hardware & software.
So no more kids mining lithium for Apple you say? No more canceling shows because the commenter of the show calls its publishing company out for slave labor practices?Apple is also working on new and improved battery technology to replace the decades-old Lithium technology. We've maxed out its usefulness and it's time for something new. I really hope that Apple is the company that brings the next big battery tech to the market.
I’m always happy to see improvements in Apple’s camera hardware but I’m getting damn tired of seeing the Google Pixel ads showing the many cool things the camera’s software can do. Why can’t Apple be the one introducing killer photo/camera features. Apple is supposed to be the top technology company in the world but when it comes to actually using their iPhone cameras they are a distant second to Google and there is no excuse for that.

I want global shutter for video, and that's really the only thing I want that no one has right now.
Do they have any confidence for a folding iPhone?I've heard the iPhone 18 will have an even better camera, and possibly a faster processor too. It's a few years out so take it with a pinch of salt, but I will say my sources seem pretty confident.
So there’s no reason why Apple couldn’t allow 24mp photos on my 14 Pro other than to keep the feature exclusive to the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max to drive sales. The main camera remained the same from 14 Pro to 15 Pro
I'm no photography expert, I thought 1/1.x were the width and length 😂Lol, someone didn't pay attention at school! :-D
its 1/1.14 which is bigger than 1/1.28 (use calculator if you don't believe us)
Of course, I maybe used the wrong words in my post. Optical quality on the iPhone's definitely been great for several years now, but the larger sensors have definitely made a difference to the detail. As a part time professional photographer (shooting with 5D Mark IV and an EOS R3 by Canon), image quality comes from the lens quality. The higher my pro cameras go in terms of mp are 30.4, but the ISO range is 100-32000. The trick is to have a full-frame CMOS sensor onboard. For me the bodies run $3-6k, and each lens anywhere from $2k-10k. For phones to come as far as they have considering the incredible small size, and all we can do with them, I'm amazed each time I shoot. Like many machines/tools..it's all in the hands of the artist the wields it. Great photo by the way!
Yeah - they say Apple is investigating folding screen technology and may use it in a product at some point. They're pretty sure about that.Do they have any confidence for a folding iPhone?
totally on the same page. really don't want such a big phone, but want the best camera. i wonder, if they really do it due to size constraints. So again the giant phone having a better camera? That sucks. Give it to the smaller 16 Pro as well!
