Hi, after talking to the senior technician sometime, he’s working on this with the engineering team. He then booked an appointment for me at the nearest Apple Store. Walked-in, the local technician ran several diagnostic and immediately noticed the flicker. They then proceed to replace my screen. After the replacement, the technician told me to off AOD as they are currently working on the fix. So far no flicker except once when I’m using Brave browser(which happens on my old iPhone as well, it could be because I load my phone settings from iCloud). Will update in a week.

The flicker came back after few days. I suspect it could be hardware issue now. I’ve informed the senior technician, he asked me to drop the phone in.

How this could be hardware if they recently replaced your screen and you have a new one ?

They replaced my entire phone and I never had the issue again (I’ve turned AOD back on for the past 2 months).

Someone on Apple forum wrote that problem occurs if screen was produced by LG (GVC or GH3). Mine is GVC

I had this problem with glitches. After sending the phone to the official service for the first time, their "diagnostic tools" did not reveal any problems. This glitch was somehow recorded on video, and when sending the phone to the service for the second time, they replaced the display, but on the very first day of use after replacing the display, a glitch occurred.

In my case, everything is aggravated by the fact that there are no official services in my city, so with sending to the official service, an unofficial reseller store where I bought the phone helped me, and it was they who managed to record a video with a glitch after the first attempt to send the phone. I can't imagine how many more circles of hell (sending the phone to the service) I need to go through to get my phone replaced, since I see this helped some people in the thread.

I will attach a video to this message, where a store employee managed to film the glitch. It's not exactly "barcode lines" that I've personally encountered, but it's still a glitch and I think it's related to this issue.

I think I'll personally try to re-record the glitch and try to insist on getting a replacement phone.

I tried turning off 5G but the problem persist. Anyways Apple took my device and send it to their depot for further inspection.

Just an update with my experience, with the public release of 18.5, these glitches no longer appear on my iPhone. I'm curious to see if this has resolved the other cases people have been reporting.
