If the bezels get much slimmer, it will be hard for me to hold the phone without triggering an accidental screen touch around the edge. That already happens sometimes, when my 15PM is not in a case.
and you think that they didn't think a solution on that problem??? of course a new thicker case solve it :D

There's also rumor of the 3.5mm headphone jack coming back. If it does come back, it'll be difficult for me to resist. Although my iPhone 12 doesn't have one, my iPad Mini 5 and 9th gen iPad do...and still very handy.

What do you want, a circular phone?
Not my fight here, but a phone without an ugly camera bump on the back would be nice. Not only would a thicker battery result in longer battery life, but now you won't have the ugly bump either. Should've been something taken care of years ago.

An all black titanium iPhone (black bezel, sides, bottom, and buttons). Glass back with a dark gray aluminum plate that covers 75% of the back. An under screen finger print reader (FACE ID optional), a flush camera, QD-OLED screen, a higher quality front facing camera, and updated internals would be a nice, quality phone Apple should put out.

Using a 15 pro and I already get accidental taps from my palms due to the thin bezels. I think that 13 pro was about right. Do people actually want thin bezels?

This should help to keep the overall dimensions of the 16 Pro models similar to the 15 Pro despite the small increase in screen size.

I sell phones for AT&T to all the age groups in existence. Nobody walks into the store looking for a 5.4" phone. Sorry, but you're in the extreme minority, and Apple would never profit enough to care about making a phone like that.

Because most people did not know it existed, the way in which the brand is set up right now is to make people feel inferior if they don't have the Max phone, and also if I walked into your store and inquired about the Mini, there is a high chance you would steer me toward the most expensive model, in addition the Mini should have been a sub $400 phone, the battery life struggled and again, Apple's marketing engine was almost non existent for the device.

There is?

I'd be stunned

Like...fall backwards out of my chair stunned
I'd be pleasantly surprised.
I don't do bluetooth for audio. I have a few Lightning-to-3.5mm dongles for my phone (for my mini shotgun mic) and earbuds/mic with a Lightning connector for calls and listening to music. I once bought a cheapo version of that which used the Lightning port to power the earbuds but the earbuds used bluetooth. That thing went straight in the trash.

Count me anything to improve screen estate is a plus. I also need a new phone, either way if the rumours are right the punch hole screen design which i was waiting for in next years pro model has been delayed again.

Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE it as I use the headphone jack routinely

(you're talking to someone with a FLEET of SE1's here after all)

I'm just super skeptical they'd ever walk this one back

Was that a rumour on April 1st? 🤔

My case pretty much reaches the bezels already. So this has to be one of the last bezel reductions now surely?

Jeff Bezels.

I don't get paid based on how expensive the model is.

Does anyone else find Apple’s current iPhone commercial annoying? Is that the best Apple can do? They are advertising that their phone has lots of storage. Are They saying that’s the best feature on their newest iPhone? It just seems pitiful to me.

You and the YouTubers who have to give everything Apple glowing reviews are the only people who think the dynamic island is very useful. Everyone else sees it as a bigger notch that wastes more screen space for no reason.
Everyone is a big universe of which you can’t know about. They took an innovative approach - even if you don’t like it.

It's the worst Apple advert I can think of. They provide very disappointing storage amounts, then brag it's a lot? I wouldn't be surprised if The Advertising Standards Agency in the UK has words with them about that.

It rivals their original selling point, "titanium, titanium, did you know the new Iphone is made with titanium".

What precise measurement are they looking for?
