That is very very thin! Photos of the Air alongside the other models really adds helpful context to how thin this thing really is!
I had an iPhone 6 (never had a problem with it), and I just looked it up; it was 6.9mm thick, which already felt super thin! Not sure which users they are targeting for this device though.
Ohhh yes sorry, I thought it was off centered like to the left or the right, I didn’t at all thing about it being slightly more to the top or the bottom. Well, yes that’s certainly possible. It wouldnt be the first time Apple did this or other „un-Apple-like“ things. Like with the iPad, where the home button was slightly closer to the screen and not perfectly in the middle of the bezel. I thing the iPod touch 4‘s 30 pin was also not quite centered. You’re right, thanks for mentioning.I’m afraid it will be slightly off-centered — they need to fit a display in there, after all.![]()
You understand perfectly well the situation with the camera. In my eyes, a phone is only as thin as its thickest part. So no, it’s not 5.5mm thin, it’s really 10.
They are obliged to have a port, at least in the EU and it has to be USB-C.I'm sure we're not that far from seeing the first iPhone withour a port.
Those are mockups in the photos, not reflecting the exact build quality of the finished models. The built quality doesn't look as nice as my iPhone 15 Pro. Really wish they'd stick with titanium.
Not even Job's Reality Distortion Field could break the laws of physics. For me it just accentuates how terrible that camera bump has always been. Not sure Jobs would have approved
It's for absolutely NOBODY. NO ONE wants a thinner, lighter phone, and if they say they do, they're either fooling themselves or lying!!Who is this phone for? Why do you need it to be thin over anything else?
