If this is going to be the new top end iphone, why only 8GB of RAM? Apple Intelligence needs 8GB minimum, so why not make the "ultra" iphone more future proof?
They should make all iPhones 16gb already. I can’t have to many tabs open in safari and sometimes it still reloads webpages. So when using long webpages with AI included 8 gb isn’t enough. Even 120 hz screens should come as a standard these days. The whole range is expensive enough to expect this from a premium brand.

There are lots of other different possibilities to make the top of the line iPhones real pro’s.

I can't help but think that a "thin" iPhone is going to have an even thinner battery. I'm not interested in being tethered to a charger all of the time or having a brick attached to the back to make the phone useful.

So... I really think this rumor is just a rumor born from the "thin" iPad's that were recently released. An iPad has more room for a large battery. I think this "thin" iPhone is a bad rumor.

Apple are getting us back there ...
Few more years perhaps

Look at all that battery too!

Of course I'd be interested to see what the actual slim iPhone would be like--I'm open minded. However, if the selling point is just that it's slimmer with compromises from the Pro then I think that's pretty weak.

Being that thin, it can only be robust if it is hinged. So, not only foldable but you can sit on it and it will conform to the curve of your pants. To maintain consistent thinness, it can’t have a protruding camera bar, so instead of lenses it will have a large sensor that captures the ambient light field. On-device computation converts the light data into any image you want, any depth of field, any focus point. Multiple focus points. Doesn’t even matter if you have your meaty fingers over most of the sensor. Onboard ai will compute that out. So it’s all satin sheen sensor on one side. All screen with under-display sensors on the other. Nice

You think Snapchat users care about your selfie quality? 🤔 I’d rather have a better back camera than pay for a better front camera
Yeah I do since I make money off my looks on social media lol.

As far as back cameras, the cameras are already great as it is so yes better improve the front camera.

Y’all complain about notches and Dynamic Island….i want the front camera to catch up to quality of back.

Please no top center camera. It looks ugly on the pixels.

Also, why is it 2024 and the selfie camera is still so low res.

It would be a game changer if we could get near similar qualities between front and back cameras.

Granted I use Snapchat usually for selfies but still.
Since i stoped using Snapchat, the camera feature on Facebook is way better, that’s what i use now.
