Sierra Blue was back then one of the main reasons for me to buy a iPhone 13 Pro. It was a beautiful Color.

Hoping for good colours on the Pro model every year. However it will most likely never happen. Want a red colored Pro.
IMO, the titanium blue of the 15 Pro and the Alpine green of the 13 Pro were good colors. I agree that a product red type red would be awesome though.

It is such a shame the pro line gets neglected in the color department. Get rid of the boring colors and add some flare to the pro line and not just all the other models.

A unique blue finish will be the "main" color option of the all-new iPhone 17 Air, according to a rumor coming out of Asia.

The iPhone 13 Pro's "Sierra Blue" finish (2021).

According to the Weibo leaker known as "Fixed Focus Digital," blue is highly likely to be the "main color" of the iPhone 17 Air upon its launch later this year, placed at the forefront of Apple's marketing materials.

The leaker went on to explain that the iPhone 17 Air's blue finish is "different from all the blue colors released by Apple in the past." The finish is apparently "very light," and in low-light conditions, could be "easy to confuse with white."

The rumor bears a resemblance to the Apple's "Sierra Blue" finish, which was the standout color offered on the iPhone 13 Pro. Sierra Blue was the first "Pro" ‌iPhone‌ color option to use a lighter shade that was still saturated with color. Sierra Blue was a unique metallic, almost icy look, that could appear blue in some conditions, and light grey in others. Apple went on to further experiment with even paler pastel glass and aluminum colors with the iPhone 15 models.

Fixed Focus Digital has a mixed track record for Apple rumors. While the leaker has had some major wins, such as reporting that the fourth-generation iPhone SE would in fact be the "iPhone 16e" and the iPhone 16 Pro's Gold Titanium color option, other claims have been inaccurate. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to debut alongside the rest of the new iPhone lineup in the fall.

Hopefully it’s not going to be like the pastel ‘barely blue’ from the iPhone 15 range.

I liked the return to saturated colours with the 16.

Waiting, hoping for Apple to go y2k retro and bring back the iMac colours for iPhones.

Cmon we all want tangerine iPhones - don’t we?

Title: iPhone 17 Air’s Dazzling New Colour: A Blue So Pale You’ll Mistake It for Apple’s Integrity
In a thrilling revelation sure to set the design world ablaze with yawns, a fresh rumour from the murky depths of Weibo suggests the iPhone 17 Air will feature a “main” colour that is—brace yourself—blue. Yes, dear reader, blue. Again. But wait! This time, it’s a “unique” blue. Whatever that means.

The leaker, who goes by the delightfully ambiguous moniker “Fixed Focus Digital,” claims this brand-new hue will take centre stage in Apple’s marketing fanfare, presumably alongside the usual slo-mo videos of people holding their phones like newborn ducklings.

This blue, we’re told, is unlike any blue Apple has ever made. Revolutionary! It’s reportedly so pale, in dim light you might mistake it for white—or perhaps just the ghost of a colour that once had ambition. It’s blue, but make it bashful.

This breathless excitement has precedent, apparently. Apple once flirted with something called “Sierra Blue” on the iPhone 13 Pro—a shade that bravely sat somewhere between “metallic glacier” and “forgot-to-choose-a-colour grey.” That experiment clearly emboldened Cupertino to venture further into the washed-out wilderness with the pastel palette of the iPhone 15.

Fixed Focus Digital has had a hit-or-miss run when it comes to Apple predictions. To their credit, they did foresee the iPhone SE becoming the “iPhone 16e” (for “eh?” presumably), and accurately pointed out that Apple would gild the iPhone 16 Pro in gold-tinted titanium, a move surely inspired by Tim Cook’s Midas touch—everything he touches turns into… a dongle sold separately.

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to emerge from Apple’s gilded spaceship this autumn, alongside its bolder but somehow even more indistinguishable siblings. Whether this new blue will spark joy or merely confusion remains to be seen. Either way, Tim will be laughing—all the way to the bank.
