I noticed you didn't offer any specifics about the new Japan prices, so out of curiosity, I looked it up. Across the board, the increases equate to $50 to $123 more than they were before -- but the more interesting factoid to my mind is how they compare to current US prices. In a nutshell, before tax the new Japanese prices are between $6 more for a couple of models and $28 less for other models, compared to US prices.

Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that price increases aren't still coming to the US, (and elsewhere) but it's nonetheless very interesting to me that Japanese buyers have been paying less than US buyers, all this time... and in some instances, still are.
