Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series on Tuesday, September 9, and last-minute rumors about the devices continue to surface.

The latest info comes from a leaker known as Majin Bu, who has shared alleged images of Apple's Clear Case for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, or at least replicas.

The images show three alleged changes compared to Apple's iPhone 16 Pro Clear Case:
  • A cutout for a significantly larger rear camera bump that spans the entire width of the device, as widely rumored already.
  • A white rounded rectangular area surrounding the MagSafe system, instead of the previous circle with a line below it.
  • Compatibility with Apple's rumored Crossbody Strap magnetic lanyard.
Apple also tested special "tinted" editions of the iPhone 17 Pro Clear Case, which might be released later, according to Majin Bu.

Apple's annual iPhone event is a little over a week away, so we will find out of this redesigned Clear Case is the real deal soon.

so the "clear" case isn't clear on the back, but, white? at least that's what it looks like to me. unless I'm missing something.
Nvm, white rectangular ... weird for a clear case

So if the transparent cases will have a frosted rectangle like that. Maybe the iPhone actually also will have that ugly rectangle as well.

I looks like an old plastic MacBook. I think combined with the color of a phone it might be nice. What seems weird to me is that it dos not look centered.

A part of me still hopes all of these leaks that have basically confirmed how the iPhone 17 is going to look are all planted leaks from the Cookie himself and that the actual iPhones 17 will look much much better than that.

This is the first time I think Apple is going to disappoint me design-wise.

This Majin Bu person put some really strange stuff in his articles like "compatible with camera control" and "molded for the iPhone 17/17 Pro specifically". i mEaN, aRe u SeRiOuSss??? Who would've thought that Apple would make their iPhone 17 Pro cases fit the iPhone 17 Pro, you'd think they would make them to fit a Samsung Galaxy Note. Thank God he mentioned this in the article!

I would also say another thing we can learn from this leak is that the Dynamic Island looks to still be roughly the same size.
