If Apple can make the lenses flush with the bar that goes across the whole back it might be OK. But camera bumps on an already hugely protruding bump would just be stupid.
Apple makes a phone with a camera bump.
Public: We hate the camera bump.
Apple makes it bigger.
Public: We hate it more
Apple: We don’t know what the public wants, let’s try making it humongous and taller. .
No, the pixel still has a camera bump, there would be nothing protruding the body of the phone in my suggestion, the phone would have a small flat section at the top, then from where your camera module currently ends on the existing phones the phone would go in at an angle to meet the bottom narrower edge. Almost a wedge shaped phone just flatted out where the cameras are.So basically an Apple Pixel?
Tbh, I'd rather have that if this turns out to be true as the lens are at least flush with the bar, not this weird disaster with the lens poking above the bar!
My money is on the follow reason. The lenses are getting bigger, and the bump would now be almost 3/4 of the way across, which would be ugly, so they just expanded the thing all the way across.I really don't know but this huge camera bar looks ugly to me. I do not understand what it is good for. From the look it cannot be hidden with a case...
The rest of the design is nice (besides the notch which I really hope too they can get rid of one day)
Maybe one day the prism telephoto lens will be able to handle the whole zone range like a normal SLR camera with a zoom lens.the current iPhone design is already worse (the last one I didn't mind was the 11 Pro), and this "leak" doesn't look any better.
at this point, having a dedicated model for these extra cameras (like the Galaxy S4 Zoom) would make more sense to me. every iPhone user in my family thinks these cameras are overkill, and none of them like the design.
