iPhone 17 Pro Max - Suddenly shut down

I was just watching YouTube on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26.2.1, when out of nowhere, the phone just completely shut down. No shutdown procedure, just off.

Has anyone else have something like that happen? Were there any remedies, or did it just not happen again?

FYI, I’ve had apps just shut down, more than likely of software issue and I just had to reopen them, but never had the phone just force-shut off like that.

I’m hoping a software issue vs a hardware issue that Apple will ignore.
