Seems like an unpopular opinion but I don't mind the design on this. I ain't a fan of the two tone kind of look on the rear where it switches from metal to glass but understand why they had to do that. It looks at least on screenshots the best on the blue as it seems they match closer in color so it's less obvious.

However the design otherwise makes sense. The cameras have made the phone not flat for a long time so why not extend that out. That gives more space for camera components and it looks like they've taken advantage of that with bigger sensors and bringing the expanded zoom from Pro Max to the normal Pro. I bet when they do a tear down there's more in that hump also, which makes more space in the main body for battery. Also moving the antenna's up there might help with signal strength also.

Then you've more metal body, this will help with cooling and switching from titanium back to aluminum is fine with me as my phone is always in a case anyway, the lower weight and better cooling makes sense. Now we get more battery for around the same weight as the previous phones.

It's just a highly functional design for once. Also I actually really didn't like the design when they first went with the 3 camera cluster and if you can remember back in time, a lot of people didn't like that either but we grew to get used to it and then either be fine or like it. This is probably no different, some dislike now but we'll grow to accept it and maybe love it in the future.

Notch, lots of hate early on and then after a while no one cares. I just don't really notice it or care about it these days. Cool if they get rid of it some day but it's just not really bugging me either.
