iPhone 17 Pro Notification Sound Low

I realize when I turn the ringtone sound all the way up after a few hours, it'll be low
What can cause this?

I would check to see if Attention Aware is enabled and if so, disable the feature. Settings>Face ID & Passcode>Attention Aware. I can't think of any other reason that the ringtone would lower.

Attention aware is off, so I'm not sure, and I turn off the ringtone change with the button, and even though I set the volume all the way up, it will not ring loudly.

My pet hate is low volume ringtones. I now download my own from Zedge and boost the audio with 'Audio Trimmer' then upload them in seconds using EaseUS Mobimover. All done in seconds.
