1) The silver is such a big downgrade from the 13 and 14 Pro Silver/White with the beautiful stainless steel edges.

2) Orange is very orange - but I bet it looks great with the Sienna Brown case (which I haven't seen any of the reviewers use yet)

3) Blue looks solid, would probably look awesome with a blue case in tech woven or in leather

I may get these phones, but I think my natural 16 Pro max looks better than all of them. I don't get too many issues with heat, and my cameras are fine, so not really feeling the need for an upgrade quite yet

Ugh the thumbnails. I’ll wait for genuine reviews. I’m sure these are great devices but these aren’t actually “reviews.”

One of my favorite browser extensions has dealt with this.
It's really amazing to see how much nicer it is to browse YT without the "OMG" faces and expressions.

It's the first time I've seen Marcus have made iPhone benchmarks - it says something... How else to convince people

Wow. That was probably the lowest effort video I’ve ever seen from Marques.
There’s really not a lot of excitement over these new phones is there?
I’m not cancelling my preorder but this is just weird.

Nothing really mentioned in the „reviews“ that would make me upgrade my 15 Pro. The camera lags significantly behind the android competition. Also the A19 Pro does only match the Snapdragon 8 Elite which will be refreshed in weeks. The Pro models are just to expensive.

Why not call them first looks or something like that? And then come out with a more in depth review later? I suppose there are some people who have to have the phone right away and want reviews to help them decide which one to get but if the reviews aren’t really that what good are they?

Great to hear it is a pretty good improvement. Thanks to iOS 26 breathing new life into my 14 Pro Max and the keyboard not sucking anymore, a LOT less typos on it now, then I think I shall grab me a refurb Orange or Blue Pro Max 17 next year. I was thinking of the folding iPhone, bad the sad reality is I know it'll cost 2 grand easy, and I have tried to set myself a limit of a grand for a phone... hence I buy refurb ones now.

The Pro Max is just TOO big and heavy. And it's especially noticeable/prominent with the new design language.

But for those who need the absolute most from their smartphone... It's truly a BEAST.👏🏼

Still think this is a good update over the 16 Pro, as the improved battery life and better camera system will be enough to make most people happy. But I will say the ceramic shield on the back is a little off-putting as it disrupts the flow of the color design for me, just IMO of course. Not a huge deal for most that will used solid case I suppose.

LOL. It's the reverse. The 8 Elite Gen 5 can't hold a candle to the A19 Pro. Never has [Never will]

As far as camera, that's subjective.

Hoping the vapor chamber means faster charging. I charge my 12 pro with a 15w qi2 battery and it pauses at around 40% due to heat. Ironically the slower 7.5w qi1 battery gets the battery level up higher.

It’s really too bad that Anandtech is no more. They did, by far, the most in-depth technical analysis of new phones & processors.

Now we get YouTube style reviews and people running Geekbench complaint a few games instead.

Yeah, no. Maybe in cherry-picked scenarios.

I use my iPhone for video and it absolutely crushed anything by Samsung or Google. 4K ProRes Log destroys 8K gimmick on Samsung and Pixels can’t even record high frame rate HDR because their processors are too slow.

Snapdragon is pathetic. Has 8 performance cores and barely beat the A18 Pro while still behind on single core (the most important).

I'd probably get the Air if it could take macro photos. I could live without the other Pro features.
