Yep, because when I'm not shooting pictures of my kids, I still have to use the thing and carry it around all day every day. It isn't ideal for that at the size and weight that it currently is.Lots of comments on MacRumors by people who have said something similar, that they don't need a phone that's a simulated DSLR with multiple cameras but instead just a half-decent, single-lens camera, if it meant that at least part of the iPhone would be smaller, even if it's just to reduce the weight and/or thickness.
Can I just have a 3:2 aspect ratio in the camera app?
Personally I’d be happy to just sometimes be able to switch cameras mid video but we aren’t Pro enough yet it seems.
Between front and back*Amen to that! Really big oversight from Apple. I'm using Adobe's Lightroom app for this AR. (free)
But you can switch cameras during recording.
Yeah personally I don’t think for a second that this is real. The flash placement makes zero sense to me, zero.I guess the video recording capabilities will improve but, honestly, that new design looks quite… hideous
Maybe once we get used to it, it will look more “normal” to us, I don’t know.
Aha. Yeah, strangely enough that’s not an option.Between front and back*
Like I said, we probably aren’t Pro enough yetAha. Yeah, strangely enough that’s not an option.
Like I said, we probably aren’t Pro enough yet 😉 or Apple hasn’t found “the right way” yet to do it.
I know, and Apple does too, because they featured them on stage in 2019.Well, there are apps that allow an inset with your selfie cam in view while recording. And of course switching front and back. Heck, there are apps that'll record both (great for descending a steep climb by bike!).
And apps that'll record all 3 rear camera's, to be mixed later.
And then there are apps that allow you to play a video backwards. Why Apple doesn't implement any of this is, well, to me, awkward.
It’s obvious bro : more components can fit : better battery, better camera (cool be zoom for example) and more…Im not going to shut up about this but the camera bump needs to be flat if it's going to look like that. Why have a camera bar if its going to keep wobbling like that.
