The weirdest and stupidest complaints I hate seeing on the comment section are, why so thin? Who asked for that? Why is the chip so powerful? Who needs more power? I mean there are budget phones from other manufacturers or even older iPhones you can buy. If you do not need the state of the art you have tons of options, but don't try to drag the entire iPhone down to YOUR level.
Stop trying to silence people from having an opinion.

Dragging things down to "your level" got ports added back into the macbook pro......

Not trying to silence anyone, and the opinions go both ways. My opinion is that the whining made the Macbook Pro thicker unnecessarily for those who whined about it. I have no issue with using Thunderbolt or dongles for ports I rarely or ever use instead. I doubt Steve Jobs who mandated getting rid of unnecessary or outdated ports would have succumbed to the whiners. The problem is that if you do not keep moving forward and keep building on the old crud such as with Windows making sure all types of old outdated stuff stay compatible, you end up end up slowing progress. You need to keep moving forward.

I’d rather a phone that takes great pictures. The bump is meaningless and instantly disappears the second you put a case on it, which literally everyone does, including the people who pretend they don’t on the Internet.
I have never used a case in 15 years of iPhone ownership, and I’d prefer no camera bump (like before the iPhone 6). The OG iPhone SE took great pictures, without the need for a camera bump.

If only the overall size was a bit smaller than the regular 6.1” iPhone, I would definitely buy it.
The 6.1” Pro is a pretty dainty phone, have you held one? It’s the size of the 11 Pro with it’s 5.8” screen, I don’t really remember anyone complaining that that one was too big

This report honestly sounds like another false report to weed out a leaker.

It just doesn’t make sense to centre the cameras due to space constraints. I also doubt Apple would use the camera layout of the pixel since they need the wide and ultra wide lenses in a particular configuration for spatial video.

I wonder how much most Apple buyers really care about a barely perceptible reduction in thickness, weight or even SSD capacity and cell or WiFi data rates. What I will notice is longer battery life, a display that use easier to read in sunlight. We are at diminishing returns for weight and thinness. the only reasons I am upgrading now are damage or diminishing battery capacity due to wear-out.

You still remember what that is, right?

Camera surface area has been growing steadily, at some point the square won't fit especially combined with MagSafe. I'm thinking a vizor design like the Pixel line (or a huge version of iPhone X / 7 Plus).

Still liking this more symmetrical layout. No table wobble.

Preach!! 🙌🏻 The new macbooks are def a step backwards in design, & this is exactly what I say when people complain about Apple dropping support for stuff like 32 bit, switching architectures, etc

Sometimes I wonder if they purposely do major shifts from time to time in order to force devs to update their apps, which keeps things progressing and keeps their UI aesthetic consistent. Don’t want to end up like Windows where there’s always a jumble of different UI’s, it makes me cringe every time I use it

The 2016 phones take garbage pictures compared to what we have now. The camera bump is good, and necessary, and should never go anywhere. Even if they make the phones thicker, they should make the lens bigger too, and keep the bump.
