I use the Dynamic Island all the time. It is so useful. I wouldn’t want to lose it. Also, I deeply dislike the idea of the camera on one side instead of in the center. We’ll just all look like we’re looking off to one side. Not ideal.

I like the idea of getting rid of the DI and moving the camera to a top left pin hole.

A hole punch, no matter where on the screen it’s located, is still a notch.

And rounded corners on the screen are reminiscent of very old CRT televisions.

All of that would’ve been obvious to if Steve Jobs if he was still CEO. But Tim Cook is oblivious to all of that because he’s clueless. Clueless Cook thinks a design is good if it makes a lot of money.

Hopefully sensor size will be a bit bigger otherwise it might not be of much use in having variable aperture. With rumors that 18 Pro will have an under screen FaceID, looks more likely that 20th anniversary edition will have under screen FaceID and camera.

I’m with the crowd that says front facing camera on one side or the other is ugly. Do like Samsung and put the camera dead-center, and make the status bar single height again.

No thank you, as in my experience faceID is far superior to TouchID, case in point: iPad Air TouchID sucess rate about 60% bs iPhone (13PM and now 17PM 99.99%

That render is incorrect, the sides still look like premium design phones. The 18 pro will most likely continue hideous 17 pro style. Keeping ugly aesthetic for another year.
