iPhone 18 Pro: Pre-Orders and Release Date Announced

Putting all the cool stuff aside, how will all this AI integration work with three Apple ID’s in one household? A significant mess today with multiple Apple ID’s. Which Apple ID will Siri answer and be able to execute this one command: “Siri, what’s playing”? One of the wife’s significant complaints. Today, each device is attached to a unique Apple ID. Not sure what, if any, response will be. Her Apple ID stuff, my stuff, and family stuff (which does not have an Apple ID) one of my complaint’s forever. Yes, there may be a few workarounds, but not the way it needs to be done.
What is the point releasing iphone 18 pro in EU without Apple Inteligence???? You just get a slightly better twin from 17pro. And a variable aperature in camera we have it for years on Samsung Galaxy S9.

Anyone recommend a trick when trading in my 16Pro. I locked in with Apple $630 trade in couple of days ago and I need to drop my old iPhone at Apple Store by 19th of September which means that I really need to preorder on day 1 in order to have a phone on time.
I will receive a gift card from Apple in the amount of $630… Problem is I would have already paid for my new iPhone full price.
Should I just trade my old one at Apple Store in the next day and get another iPhone that I will return and get the gift card from Apple, then on Friday apply the gift card on my preorder for the new iPhone and return the new one I just bought?

I assume you meant the duo? this is a thread for the 18 pro lol. 18 pro is $1749 in Canada up from $1599 for the 17 pro. I expected worse here in Canada honestly
Was there anything on the RAM for the various models? Usually you need a higher SSD model to get more RAM, or maybe that's just iPad Pro's. Not sure.

It's looking like an AT&T upgrade is for me. $1299 in bill credits for my 15 PM makes it a no-brainer in my book, especially since I don't plan on leaving AT&T for the upcoming term.
I have the Unlimited Elite, which I think qualifies as a "legacy unlimited" plan, versus the Elite 2.0 stuff. Love how even phone plans have version numbers now...

Have an iUP folk received any communication from Apple about how to prep for trading in their current device for a new device under Apple Upgrade?
It's not exactly like we select Add a trade-in nor No trade-in (or maybe we do select the latter). 🤪 Anyway, anxious to see how that process is going to work. Ready to get pre-approved, save my device and wake Sat to pre-order.

They should have the presentation, the ASL presentation AND the EU presentation... WHY should I watch a commercial of features which are not available for EU..
