About time they added this feature.

Most any WinMo phone has a connection manager where you can turn any radio (and data access) on/off individually.

I buy WM phones off eBay with bad ESNs for almost nothing, and use them around the house as Slingbox viewers over WiFi. Just tap off the cell radio and leave WiFi on.

If/when the iPod touch gets Slingbox, I'll be first in line to buy!

iPod Touch/iPhone Software Update 2.0 Errors

I don't know which forum to find what I'm looking for, but my iPod Touch is having problems udating to the new 2.0 software. I'm trying to update my 1st Generation iPod Touch. I'm stuck at the point where it gives me the "We could not complete your iTunes Store request" error message. I've tried everything from shutting down iTunes, to unplugging my iPod and can't get it to be right. Anyone else have this problem?
Here's a better explanation of what's going on: http://blogs.pcworld.com/staffblog/archives/007248.html
I still don't understand it. Help?

If you are traveling internationally, spending 10-15 hours maybe on an airplane then paying just $12.95 for wifi access during that whole flight is well worth it

I have traveled internationally several times and the book is still my preferred option

Just came from Vienna, Austria in fact and read 3 books along with a nice sleep :D
