really though, beta 5 should of been a lot more stable than past beta's. But what i find weird is the pattern the beta's were released and then beta 5 appeared out of nowhere a week later. maybe they rushed beta 5 and thats what is causing major issues, because they didnt have time to work out the kinks

i liked version 4 much better than version 5, i just hope version 6 beats them both in stability.

That makes me wanna stay where I am then.

I tried to install Beta 5 about 5 days ago and it simply would not install and I haven't had time to mess with it so looks like I'll be sticking with Beta 4 for a while longer.

Yeah, go ahead and keep beta 4 on there and you'll see what will happen. Good luck! I just hope you have a backup phone with you.

Think about it

I personally think Apple is purposely messing up the betas.. THink about it.. i mean 2.2.1 is almost as good as 1.1.4 (which is the best, stable, fastest firmware of any firmware apple has ever made).. but y is 3.0 so sluggish? dropping calls? i mean think about it.. with all that they are adding they arent doing any changes to the phone portion. sms, notes should have small bugs cuz of changes.. but overall performance should be fine.. service should be good... but if they put everything out to the developers.. with everything running smoothly, with all the new add ons... some kind of way hackers will be using 3.0 before it comes out.. Apple has to intentionally mess up some parts of the phone to keep the OS in "beta" and to prevent the software from becoming widely used before its official release...
