i know this feature was talked about with 3.0 but i never noticed it in my settings before 3.1 beta. can anyone corroborate this?

6. Haptic feedback for when moving apps

I think to describe the simple vibration when the apps start to wobble as haptic feedback is a bit "generous" 😉

I've attached a photo taken just now. One of the two phones is a 3G with 3.0 on it, and the other is a 3GS with 3.1: Can you tell which is which?
I've taken this picture indoors with no artificial light (which is why the phones are so dark) because I just wanted to capture the screens with no artificial lighting to affect the color balance

Big ones (for me, anyway) that probably should've been in 3.0:

1. Battery life seems to have improved (3GS confirmed)

4. You can paste a number into the keypad section of the phone app

8. Voice Control works over bluetooth

Also, how is this accomplished:

when you enter editing mode there is a small vibration

I can only assume this is to stop people holding the icons too long to launch them, like my brother

Have they improved spotlight any? Big problem in spotlight is you can't search within emails, so it would be nice if they fixed that.

Thanks for checking and well, that sucks. Hey, do you have any idea when they'll be done with the beta testing and make 3.1 offical? I guess all it might do for me is make the battery better (I'm on a 3G).

Heard from "where"? Sorry but that is a load of bollocks. My 3GS isn't overheating at all, so why would they downgrade EVERY single 3GS?

This functionality already exists...I think it would slow down Spotlight significantly if it had to parse every email...

Is there anything tht helps with the WIFI issues a lot of users are having?
I have a great internet speed and I can connect to my router over wifi, be sitting like 1 foot from the router, and it will take almost 10 minutes to load a youtube page or really anything. IT IS SOOO SLOW!

Id there any change in this?

This functionality already exists...I think it would slow down Spotlight significantly if it had to parse every email...

How does this already exist? At least, give us the option, because searching by the subject of an email is almost useless.

Anyway, I don't want to get this thread off on a tangent about spotlight. It's obviously not going to have the functionality change in 3.1.

"Fraud Warning" is not on my 3.0 3Gs. This is a new feature. Sounds like a great idea!

I hope they did some overhauling with wifi. There are alot of problems after people installed 3.0 and on 3gs phones. Sitting next to the router, my signal fluctuates up/down and speeds are all over the place.

Looks like they've changed how Cover Flow works.

On my iPod Touch with 3.0 cover flow sorts by artist name, as its always done.

Now it seems to sort by album name.

I think its a silly way to sort it as i don't know all my album names, but i know my artist names, just my 2 cents.
