The Phone icon has a darker drop shadow and they added a little definition around the edge of the phone inside it as well as a slight blue hue.

In 3.1 Has anyone seen the cut and paste like?

I was using the phone and my ear hit the numbers and this showed up.

Regarding the changes to bluetooth, can somebody do a test for me? I'm looking into buying the MOTOROKR S9 bluetooth headphones that has volume, track skipping, and call answering abilities built in, but the track forward and back hasn't worked on the OS 3.0 so far. Can anyone that has 3.1 installed and a bluetooth headset with audio controls test it to see if you can now change tracks? If so, this would be a HUGE thing for me.

As we've mentioned previously, AVRCP is not working in 3.1.

You won't be able to have the skip track buttons enabled as they are designed for moto phones, double clicking play button might do it though as this is how apple wired remotes work

Sorry but this is not true at all. A2DP works exactly the same across every supporting phone, same with AVRCP. It's not phone specific because it's made by Motorola.

Can anyone confirm if the POP3 email account/spotlight search bug has been fixed?

The problem I have in 3.0 is that on a POP3 email account I have whenever I delete an email from that account and empty the trash then go over to spotlight search and search for that same email it comes up in the search and then when I open that email in spotlight it crashes the mail app.

Apple Insider lists this as a change in iPhone OS 3.1

http://www.appleinsider.com/article..._enhance_video_editing_and_voice_control.html

"Other changes include modified iTunes Store icons that rearrange themselves back to default after opening and closing the app."

Anybody have any idea what that means? I don't get it.

NICE! :) I thought they needed to add copy paste to the phone like that. I tried to copy from the phone once and it didn't work and I was a little disappointed.

There are a couple more places you can't copy like on a persons contact page you can't copy unless you choose to edit the info and then select whatever text you want.
