There has never been an "iPhone 2" or "iPhone 3." There's been an iPhone, and iPhone 3G however.

LOL. You are right. I left the G off of 3G.

I was careful to say the first one is only referred to as an iPhone2. I should have been clearer.
 
I can completely cover my 3gs with my hands (except the screen), no change in the bars or the data transfer rate (3g). The upload rate is actually higher than my iP4 was.
