I knew Psystar was gaining some ground in those Hackintosh machines! Perhaps that's why it took so long for Apple to throw down the gauntlet on them - they had to make sure their initial batch of iPhone 3Gs got out the door before they could step in to replace them with Mac minis.

she looks pretty happy for an indentured live-in employee. too bad she probably has no job now. :(

she looks like shes 15
poor girl
but then again i think i would enjoy making iphones lol:D

She has to be at least 17 because she looks at least one year older than the Chinese Olympic gymnasts! Or maybe they were not 16 afterall :D

Wow, it looks like they have a dental plan. Her teeth are so straight!

...

My first thought was that she is going to be fired... but on second thought, maybe the picture shows how humane their working conditions are... and like I said, they have a dental plan! Apple wouldn't fire her for showing how good it is. (I thought it was much worse anyways... and I always thought it was some old hag that put together my iPod and iMac... not a nice looking young girl.)

What I am confused about, is why the pictures are such high quality... Would they really sneak a camera into the factory (a huge risk) just to download some pictures onto an iPhone?

Cool

That's a great find. It really is an excellent way to connect with customers and have a good laugh.

Hope she gets a raise instead of in trouble.

The pictures were taken on an iPhone...

She looks about 12/13 to me! I don't think Stevo is going to be impressed at all... It looks a little bit too much like child labour.

Those cheap PCs are there because Apple doesn't manufacture ANYTHING they sell; Taiwanese OEMs with plants in China do. FoxConn (Hon Hai Precision Industry) in this case with the iPhone, along with iPods and the Mac Mini.

I wonder what was the last piece of hardware Apple actually produced themselves, or at least got manufactured in the US ?

Those pictures were taken with an iPhone.

EDIT: sk8mash beat me to it.

If this gets bigger, she would join other famous Gallery of Apple People like Ellen Feiss and the strange guy that looks like Aphex Twin from the first iPhone pic. In a cute way.

I hope she and the person who took it don't get into trouble. Looks like they were just having some fun while working on what could be a repetitive and boring assembly line job.

Hi,

Not sure if this is or is not the 'norm' but I just received my brand new iPhone here in the UK and once it had been activated on iTunes I found that the home screen (the screen you can personalise with a photo) already had a photo set against it !!!!

It would appear that someone on the production line was having a bit of fun - has anyone else found this ?

These are the photo's:

When you load the pictures into iPhoto, what were the dates that popped up? Also, when did you buy the iPhone. Its interesting!
