Hi,
I don't know wether anyone else noticed this but if you look in the background you can see PC'S on the shelves. Come on apple i would expect like mac pro' and 30" displays everywhere lol. It is a huge letdown she the girls cute.I would be pretty pissed if that was one my phone eh looks like a return is in order don't you think.

That's pretty cool. This could be good PR for Apple to show they contract companies that have great facilities and happy workers making their products.:apple::)

I wonder though, if any other phones have more....sinister:eek:....pictures?

Dude- she's already been executed. I guess Apple could still use the image in an ad campaign.

i think its a kind of personal touch. It's nice. Maybe every phone that gets a full quality test should have its tester's picture taken and left on there. And the working conditions look pretty good.

In true Chinese style...

She's not the one actually assembling iPhones, she's just the stand-in for the uglier girl with buckteeth who does all the real work.

*sigh* At least I cracked myself up...

This is cute. Every iPhone should come with a photo of the person who packed it in its box before it left the factory to come to you.

As long as they're hot.

Why?

Why? I'd be happy that my phone works and the people who put it together are (or at least it looks like the are) treated well.

I wouldn't have a problem if my phone came like that. It would be pretty cool if there was a photo taken from every place the phone had been. Yes, I know that's impossible because they are sealed, but you get what I mean.

Eh, what...they should only hire companies that use Macs?

I'd imagine they'd run out of companies to hire eventually.

yep

I agree.

But no fatties. Not even ones with cute faces.

Once again, this AIN'T an Apple factory!

johnnyi, this isn't an Apple shop. It's a FoxConn factory. I doubt there's an Apple cinema display in any OEM factory ANYWHERE.

When you load the pictures into iPhoto, what were the dates that popped up? Also, when did you buy the iPhone. Its interesting!

26/07/08 07:20 - I also have more photo's that have not been uploaded but are just like the first of the production line.

I bought the iPhone last week from Carphone Warehouse in the UK.

The exif data confirms they were taken by the iPhone.

I'd promote her to QA and have her work all up and down the line.

:p

absolutely! it's crazy how this girl is now semi famous on the mac blogs...can't wait till she is found in china, and we get her name, age, etc...you know someone right now is trying to find her...lol

lets just hope she is over the legal age to work, and makes good money..I would hate to hear the money I drop on Apple doesn't at least a little reach the employee

Those cheap PCs are there because Apple doesn't manufacture ANYTHING they sell; Taiwanese OEMs with plants in China do. FoxConn (Hon Hai Precision Industry) in this case with the iPhone, along with iPods and the Mac Mini.

I wonder what was the last piece of hardware Apple actually produced themselves, or at least got manufactured in the US ?

It does seem that they are using some current version of OSX leopard, based on the grey menu bar that is lighter than iTunes, and the spotlight icon isn't blue like Tiger.

Maybe they are Pystar after all.

I agree - I don't want any bad to come of this - I spent a few days contemplating whether I should just ignore it or whether the Apple community would appreciate it - I think Apple should find her and use her in a promotion !

upload them all please!!! Email steve, see what he has to say about the issue, just for fun...who knows you might score some free stuff, a trip to Cupertino, you never know!

So I don't know what the metadata says, but there is no way the standard iPhone camera took that pic, this is not a picture from the iPhone, just compare it's resolution to the other pics from the phone. There is something fishy with this pic.

What a fun little "easter egg"

I wonder if she thought the phone was going to get cleared ... or if she knew the pics would sneak out??

So no geo-tags I'm afraid, but quite remarkable that the photos were taken on 26th July, and markm49uk says he bought it two weeks later. That's some turnaround!

What I am confused about, is why the pictures are such high quality... Would they really sneak a camera into the factory (a huge risk) just to download some pictures onto an iPhone?

I'd assume the factory is very brightly lit, which makes high-quality photos easy on any camera.

Notice that the field depth extends from very close to the camera all the way to the background... typical of the short focal length that you would have on a low-end, small-sensor camera like that in the iPhone.

Yes, but why is the RESOLUTION higher? These photos are much bigger than what the iPhone takes.

Is it actually capable of more than the software delivers to us?

Assuming she is as young as she looks, is this the Jailbait iPhone instead of a Jailbroken iPhone?
