New Homescreen

I hope she doesn't get fired, she looks so bloody happy!

I will dedicate my iPhone homescreen to her for the rest of this week

ok, here's couple of example of factory shots taken with iphone:

better?

if you find factory pics of that quality taken with iphone, please contribute positively and share them. don't just try to come up with reasons why the ones i found aren't valid.

well they were on my iPhone and the exif data says iPhone -

Not sure what else I can do to prove it !

Child labor?

1. She looks to be 14 years old.
2. She'll be fired.
3. She'll become famous.

I doubt she's 15. Not to be racist but Asian chicks tend to look younger than they are.

The environment shes working in doesn't look too bad either which is good :)

I can't even begin to fathom the bizarreness of putting a picture of a random (albeit happy) factory worker on your phone. Not the OP; all the people on the thread that are saving the picture.

Like others have said, I've seen "factory" pictures, but defiantly not one where someone was posing, let alone a person in it. The person working across from her probably grabbed it during an assembly switch or something. Good find :)

Mine's defective, I'm exchanging mine at the apple store because it didn't come pre-loaded with a hot Chinese chic on it! :D

Please apple don't get her fired. I think they all should come with pics on them! That is so freakin' cool!

so our parents cant name us a name from another place.

I am sure some person that lives in the United States have named their daughter ulga. so why not a chinese person with a japanese name?

comment?:D

Yes, it's possible to name your kids any way you want.

But given the Chinese-Japan history of the past century, it's somewhat unlikely that Chinese parents would choose a Japanese name for their daughter.

Unless she was adopted by a Japanese family and then went back to China for the glamorous job as a Chinese factory camera model. :) :)

I will go with option #2 :D

I shall remain calling her kiko.

Now we all can put a name to our imaginary girlfriends picture who works in china at the iphone factory  LOL

It amazes me how many ppl assume from this pic that it's a good work environment. I'm not saying that it isn't, but here are some possiblities:

1) She get's paid next to nothing compared to other jobs
2) She lives at the factory and never gets to see her family (this one is likely)
3) She works 30 hour shifts
4) She is constantly exposed to Methyl Bromide fumes

However, I'm under the impression that after the iPod Factory fiasco, Apple is on top of things...at least a little bit.

I dont know either, look at those hard wooden chairs they have to sit in.

She will not be fired! She is not the one who took the picture!

So you think the person responsible for taking the picture should be fired?

I dont know either, look at those hard wooden chairs they have to sit in.

Because in factories everywhere else in the world all workers get ergonomic heated leather seats.

It amazes me how many ppl assume from this pic that it's a good work environment.

I'm amazed of quite the opposite: how many people assume they're all working in slave-like environment.

Wow! Apparently word of markm49uk has spread to China, and girls are doing anything to get his attention. :)

I think a lot of non-Asians have a hard time telling how old we are.

I'm 28 and I still get carded all the time!

This girl looks around 20.

It's more like, "kiko" is a uniquely Japanese word/pronunciation. So unless those words can be expressed in Chinese characters, her parents most likely wouldn't even know that name existed.

Yeah, I'm not Asian, but to me she looks pretty close to an Asian friend who is in her early 20s.
