cweems,

could you verify which data plan the store has it on (30 or 45) and if its on 30, will exchange work, like it works on other ATT devices with 30 dollar plan (tilt, bjII, etc..)

-Matt

sorry i cant look up our accounts at all... only thing i could say is sign up for the 30, see if it works, and if not switch to the 45.

edit: i did see u can enable/de enable(?? lol) the PUSH option under mail settings, but i dont know if it works w/ all email clients

if he's willing to try, I'll send him some certificates and set him up on my personal exchange box at home..

rats... well do you have any insight as to the 30 dollar plan working.. i mean, if it works with the tilt, bjII etc, can you see any indication that it wont now?

I'd like to know if there are still those silly little checkered square things when you are moving around a (zoomed)? webpage. I guess it's because there isn't enough memory to hold the web page or something...

Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

I really can't see this being disabled in the firmware, it would be a nightmare to enforce, especially when the updates roll out through itunes.

As far as blocking the traffic goes, that again would be very difficult as exchange activesync uses standard http and https ports. So they would need to inspect every packet to check for exchange activesync traffic. Which would be almost impossible to do on the quantity of data that will pass through the mobile networks.
