Iphone 3g opened and unboxed

Does anyone else not see the universal dock adapter?
(yes I know its not mentioned on the box contents, but some have apparently called apple who confirm there will be one)

Mossberg, Thursday it's looking like. Probably early Thursday - i'm not sure when the WSJ updates its contents, but i'd imagine the more Eastern time zones can find that out in the morning before America is awake on Thursday :)
 
Something's not right...

Not calling it fake, but the person didn't JUST unbox it as they took these pics. Look at the film on the screen, it's full of bubbles, showing that he reapplied it. This would also explain the smudginess of the back...

Maybe this person got it as a review unit a few days ago and couldn't post anything until now? Who knows...
 
my psp never looks that greasy after being handled, but i guess with the flash from the camera it would enhance said fingerprints :(

Wow, I was set on black, but that really looks awful.. I wonder how long till somebody starts selling matte replacement back panels, since they're just plastic now?
 
Im guessing it must be a review unit as he wouldn't have been able to activate it or anything seeing as 7.7 still isn't released?
Also the power adaptor is just a standard Portuguese/Spanish one I think.

Not too likely - From what i've heard from various people in the tech sections of some of the broadsheets in the UK, they aren't going to get a sneek peek prior to the 11th. So why would a journo from Portugal/Spain be any different. More likely to be an opened shop model?

Looks real enough to me.

Somehow I doubt he unboxed it, lovingly peeled off all the film and rubbed it over his oiled body for the last few days then reapplied the film and took photo's for our benefit.

Although....it does look a bit greasy... :rolleyes::p

for about the 5th time, its not a UK plug. this is a uk iphone plug:

Well, this looks real, but it looks like he (or someone else) has handled it allot before packaging it back up to take these 'unboxing' pictures. I read in the 'What's in the box' listing on the Apple site that a cleaning cloth will be included in the box - this is definitely a good thing!

For those of you who really want to keep it shiny and polished, have a search on your country Apple store for 'iKlear' - it's a great safe cleaner and polish kit perfect for cleaning the iPhone, and indeed any other shiney technology you might have. I use it on my iMac (07 model) at home and it shines the screen up great - should do the same for the iPhone both screen and back.

Now the smudgy back can match the smudgy front.

Man. Im seriously thinking white. Smudges are my pet peeve.
 
It never said that this person was a regular user. How about looking at it as if it is a demo unit for a store?
