how is a white one going to stop fingerprints on the front, which is really the only part of the phone where visibility matters? the thing is gonna have fingerprints all over it no matter what color you get.

I'll hazard a guess that that is NOT new, and in fact a demo model that has been sent round the reviewers. Look at the sheet of plastic covering the phone. There's no way there would be that many air bubbles, *unless* it had been taken off and re-applied a few times. Also, take a look at the high res, there is bits of food, dirt etc in all the crevices. I don't know about everyone elses, but it took about a month for them to appear on mine. I suspect that has been handled by a lot of people, which explains why there are so many prints on it.

if you are getting black, get an invisible shield or similar and you'll be fine with fingerprints.

I am very torn.

Can't decide between White and Black. The black will clearly be a smudge magnet, but will I get sick of the white?! Not sure, but I know that there will not be many white iPhones out there.... could give that unique aspect that we all once had when we got the 1st generation iPhone.

The back looks terrible, I'll definitely have to get a clear protective film for it.
