iPhone 3G Sim In The iPad

Theoretically putting the iPhones 3G sim card in the iPad 3G version should allow me to surf the web right? I mean I'm paying $30 for unlimited internet data anyways....

Not going to work. iPad uses Micro SIM (52% smaller than regular SIMs) cards, iPhones use regular SIM cards.
