LOL @item description. "I have also included the receipt to show that it was legitimately purchased from apple and not stolen."

It retails at £549.00 on apple but new so i'm not sure if I should get this, whats the max would you pay for it on ebay?

Yeah it seems so, I'm going to bid 300 on the last minute and hopefully i'll win it as no-one seems to be interested.

there are better deals on ebay than that one....just do a bit of searching. Also the listing has 7 days left.

you are better off finding a buy it now at a good price.

I thought its rather cheap considering its £550 in apple new, no-one will bid on it since 4g/hd is coming out on monday therefore its mine :D

Looks like a good price, but there are better. I'd suggest you wait until after WWDC and then all the iPhones on eBay should come out of nowhere.

do you know how ebay works?

that phone is likely to go £400+, i would just search for a buy it now, there are a few to be found.

by your logic i could just search any iPhone that has 7 days left and is less than the one you found!

Yes I do know how ebay works but by the statistics (Based on Views/Bids) no-one is interested in the phone i'm showing you.. and I guarantee you it wont go up to 400 probably, 300 max because of 4g/hd

the reason nobody is interested is because there is 7 days left on the auction!

and the fact you have posted the listing on a forum isnt going to help either lol.

edit: plus the reason why it has so many views is probably because you posted the link on a forum for people to click on also!

noobs, gotta love em.

Exactly. The price'll hold steady til like the last hour of the auction, when bidding will suddenly spike. I never got discouraged when I was selling stuff when the price held low because I knew it'd always go up right before the auction ended. People wait to see how things look like they'll play out before they pounce.

Exactly by me posting on a forum to get views put other interested buyers off and I doubt anyone from this forum will bid on it.

We'll see, iphone 4g/hd will get announced in 2 days and this bid is on for 7 days!!!!

If you say so. I'm just sayin', don't bank on it being the same price or selling cheaply. I sold my BB Bold 9000 last summer/fall after whatever the next model was had come out (as well as the iPhone 3GS) and the price still spiked right before auction end. I know of which I speak.

You really think that you will be the only one interested in that iPhone?

You talk about statistics yet know nothing about them with respect. I don't mean to be rude but I'm assuming that you are young or somewhat naive.

As I told you in another thread, that iPhone has over a week to go so no-one with any sense will bid at this stage. It's pointless to bid until the very end.

As Pez555 has rightly pointed out, that iPhone is likely (statistically) to fetch £400+.

I understand what you're saying but I'm sure that I will win it.

Why has it got 3 bids already then?

regards,
nlr.

you may win it but you will be forking out around 400 quid for it.

you say why has it got 3 bids already, well doesn't that just prove that people are interested in it already? they arent going to stop bidding just becuase you think so.

he is naive and i get the impression he isnt that old either.....

I don't think you understand that people WONT be interested seeing an NEW iphone is coming out in 2 days which could mean a price drop..

I bet one of you guys will bid on it out of spite as your so against me winning it.

Yes as you can clearly see through out this topic i've been saying i'm bidding on it
