i got Solution Follow the step as bellow

1)attach iPhone with Computer
2)Start itune
3)Press Home and Power Key for 10 Sec.( Make sure it press for 10 sec)
4)Release the Powerkey but Hold the home key till the time itune ask you for Restore the phone

My phone battery went dead last night so went to charge it like I always do but it would do nothing. Tried all the suggestions above and also Power + Home buttons but nothing. Really weird. Don't want to upgrade yet because I am 4 months away from getting a free upgrade. Any other suggestions ?

so i have had the same problem as most of you guys on here. i have tried everything i could think of, so i decided to look on the web for answers and discovered this blog, i tried every solution everyone offered and still nothing has happened to my iphone. is there anything else i can do?

How to fix this

I just signed up for MacRumors.
I did because my phone was in my pocket it turned off and I felt a vibrate.
I was freaking out thinking I would have to buy a new phone
After bricking my phone like ten times In the last year, I got some experience
So what I did was I held the power and home button a the same time for a while. Some people say ten seconds, but I held it for 20 seconds then it powered on. It was around 40% when it stopped working but when I fixed it said twelve.

if you are stuck on the apple logo just hold the home and power button at the same time for 20 seconds then go through a restore process. Hope this helps

So it should work if i hold the power and home button till Apple logo comes and then release power button after that but keep holding the home button till i get springboard ?
No need to restore right ?

My dad's iPhone 3GS was working fine till morning but then suddenly went dead and when he kept for charging, he got the red battery and bolt and even after half an hour there was no life in the phone.
I don't have access to phone as of now so i need to tell him to do the above steps to hopefully revive his device.

Try holding down the lock button and the home button to do a hard reset. Or try putting it in DFU mode. If no luck, take it into the Apple Store to have fixed/replaced.

my iphone wont boot past apple screen

i have a jail broke iphone 3gs that i recently replaced the battery because the old one was messing up and kept shutting off phone and almost exploded... so i bought a new battery and replacedthe old one and put it all back together now my iphone shows dead battery which was no problem new battery... dead ok so i let itcharge then my iphone tried to boot on but will not go past the apple logo screenand shuts off and goes back to the dead battery screen ihave left it on the charger for two days ... nothing so i decideto hard restart when it was powering on maybe it wa frozen ... it still does the same thing someone please help me out

ok i just did the reset thingy and now itunes is taking 5 hrs of downloading the reset for it ... my iphone is still doing the same crap... dead battery charging then trying to power on stays on screen for a minute and then goes back to the dead battery screen... sooo yeah anything else
