It should, as long as you use a 20 MHz bandwidth. If you use a 40 MHz bandwidth it probably won't. You should be able to configure this under the 802.11n wireless options on your router.Will wifi work on 4.0 if I choose "802.11n+g" ?
This is very unlikely for a couple reasons. First, 802.11n is the newest standard, so older hardware is very unlikely to support it in place of the older standards. Second, this is in fact prohibited in the 802.11n standard; all 802.11n devices must also support 802.11b and 802.11g at 2.4 GHz and 802.11a at 5 GHz.My brother has a very old mac, so the b+g won't work with his iBook which only does 802.11n.![]()
