So you'd like a modern "sandwich-design" phone with metal sides and a glass front and back? Try Samsungs latest model...

I wish I could like this comment a million times. The Galaxy S6 is the iPhone 4 with updated specs lol

iPhone 4/4s the best design?

They were a work of art, still remember the Gizmodo leak and being excited, but IMO having a good slider case on the 4/4s made it a bit thick compared to the 5/5s (or 6/6+) we have now.

Hi,

I want to see a remake of iphone 4/4S with better processor, much more ram, and maybe lighter, but with the same design and size.
IMO it's the best iphone i've seen.

What about you ?

Sure, make the size of the 6 plus and it will be great. Otherwise, it has too small of a screen. It's tough to watch movies and surf the web on a 4" screen.

4" screen is perfect if you only use the iPhone as just a phone and nothing else. Otherwise you'll be getting your readers out!

I still have an iPhone 4 and the design is immaculate, it's small and i don't think it's a sandwich design at all, was perfect fit. I loved the screen size, having used the iPhone 5s and now the 6 i don't think i could go back to it. :)

i just want an iphone 4S lighter and with A7 processor. Nothing more. Thank you apple...

To me I find Apples designs being like an acquired taste. At first I don't particularly care for them but with a bit of time I end up really liking them. And because of that I end up always liking them unlike a fad that I grow tired of the design.

I feel the same a lot of Apple products. The Apple Watch for example, I thought that look pretty bad at first. However now there are a few models I actually really like.

As far as the 4/4S, I still think its a good looking device but to me the newer devices look much better. If I had to pick a design to be updated with modern internals and screen it would most certainly be the iPhone 1. Keeping the two tone back maybe with modern higher quality materials though.

I still love my 4S and I enjoy looking at it all the time.
But to be honest, Apple never looks back and therefore we will never ("never say never") see a remake of the magnificent iPhone 4 line :(

Loved the iPhone 4 design when it first came out. It totally blew away all the other phones on the market and made me give up my perfectly working iPhone 3G to get one.

However, I would say the Slate iPhone 5 is the best looking one to date. So sleek and beautiful. Too bad Apple is on the 'Space Grey' nonsense now.

The iPhone 6 feels the best in hand though so I would say that one has the most practical design. It actually curves to fit your palm and feels very natural to hold.
