    Wow.

If this is not a mistake, NOW we know why Apple requested 45 day anonymity!

    This is huge.

The only hits on Google for this chip is for the HTC Evo.

I have no idea what this means, or what this chip actually does.

Woah. If that's actually the right CDMA chip, that's awesome.

I'm wondering why iFixIt made no mention of it? They should know what they are talking about... I'm guessing (hoping I'm wrong) that we are somehow going to be disappointed..

Yeah something isn't right, especially with those two lists being exactly the same.

Dear 6 pound, 8 ounce baby Jesus. Don't even know what a cell phone is yet. Thank you for freeing the new iPhone from AT&T's dirty hands. Please dont let this be a mistake.

Basically, it foreshadows Verizon. Verizon's network uses CDMA.

Idk.. Maybe what it would need is a CDMA Transceiver like the Qualcomm RTR6500 CDMA2000 Transceiver that the Evo has.

This was all crystal clear when we learned of the request to FCC to hold it secret... and yes, rumors flew back when the ETF was jacked.

Cropped both websites for a comparison. Left is the iPhone 4, right is the Evo.

WCDMA is also CDMA. Why would a GSM phone have a regular CDMA2000 chip in it?

Something isn't adding up here... if you view it in "huge" mode, you can clearly read the TriQuint labeling:

    TriQuint TQM676091

So, I'm raising the BS flag.
