WCDMA is also CDMA. Why would a GSM phone have a regular CDMA2000 chip in it?

A better question would be.... Where is the GSM chip? This is a mistake from ifixit.

So... based on those components looks more likely that they accidentally posted the specs for the EVO and not the iPhone. With a teardown as important as the iPhone, i'm pretty sure finding a CDMA module would be HUGE, and not just overlooked.

Have you bothered looking for a datasheet for the TQM676091? I did... and you can't find one anywhere... not even google. Something is up here, Apple may have asked the company to remove the product from their website.

These chips are in the Evo, not any iPhone 3GS or 4.
