    Hi everyone
At school a mate of mine in woodwork has made a coffee table with an ipod dock in it, he has developed a contraption which has a metal piece on the iphone silicone case and a cabinet type magnet on the table it self to hold it, he just wanted to check will this affect the workings of the iphone 4 or mess anything up?
    Thanks
    David

    Magnets

It shouldn't do as long as the magnets are not SUPER strong.

1+ if your talking normal cabinet door magnets. I wouldn't worry.

    Hi
Yes I mean those cabinet type ones, that you often see in your kitchen etc. Will it effect the compass permanantly or just while the magnet is next to it?
    Thanks everyone for the input

Thanks everyone, for you advice, do you also think it would affect the battery?
    Thanks again

    Hi,

Their has been lots of discussions about the issues of using mobile fones cases with magnetic clasps, as they can affect the battery charge of a handset.
