Does anyone know of any good ideas of how to get scratches out of the back glass. I'm really curious.

Wow great idea. Why didn't I think of that. I wouldn't have wasted my time if I would just have thought of that. Come on. I'm not looking for dumb replies. I am reall wandering if there is a way to buff then out without harming the phone

It's glass, you aren't going to get the scratches out. Deal with it or cover it up with a case.

You can spend a lot of money on buffing materials and products but in the end you're just wasting your time.

Phones scratch...no biggy.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

Put screen protector on the back and you won't even notice them. I don't think they'll come out anyway.

Sorry, I feel for you but there isn't a way to buff them out even if you get super-fine emory cloth. There is a coating on both sides that is meant to reduce fingerprints, called Oleophobic. If you try to buff the scratches out, you will buff the coating off and create an odd effect. There are a couple of different protectors out there like Zagg, which is semi-flexible. I know of a couple of people that have gotten their iP4's scratched (very lightly) and applied them to the back. Scratches are invisible now because it seems like the adhesive they used filled the scratches.

I thought this was a thread about a new previously undiscovered feature of the new iphone 4. that it provides back scratches. Man was I disappointed to read the thread...

Hey man I had the same problem. I just threw a back shield protector on my phone and now they are invisible. Combined with a bumper my phone is unstoppable (as long as concrete and/or water isn't involved).

yes, Go to the top of your screen. should be a long box. click it and type in "www.google.com" when that comes up there will be another box in the middle of the screen under the word "Google" in colors.

click on that box and type in "iPhone 4 glass back housing for sale"

take your pic of sites that sell them.

tune in next week when I teach you how to turn your iphone 4 off....:D

LMAO!!! :D !!!

Dude I love how it works to get chunky girls skinnier and ugly girls sort-of "ok"; but those ugly girls still not good enough to have me smiling.
I can attest to this... it's sad.
