I love PDO Silk Slider cases.
Great look, feel, and protection. Slim case, but offers a lot of protection for the size. It has a "soft" feel, but not overly so. Really hard to describe the feel, but I think it is pretty much perfect.

If you do order, use the code PDO2011 for $2.50 off.

I heard Apple banned sliders because they crack the back glass?

The commuter is a great case as long as you're using protectors as you mentioned you are. I can vouch for it because I was in love with it until I decided to go with the defender. Btw, you can visit the Apple store but they wont have all the cases there. Especially the OtterBox case.

So the commuter will not disrupt the protectors?

Im planning on buying the PowerSupport protectors

oh i see there are some really nice slider cases that dont effect the back glass at all.

Silk Slider has a nice felt inside-back. Have not have enough iP4 experience to know, but the one on my 3GS never scratched because of the inner felt. My friend has a slider case on his 3GS without the inner stuff and the metal back was trashed. Defeated the whole point of having a case.

I have an iFrogz case and I love it!! I have dropped my phone twice (both on carpet) and it has held of quite well with no bumps or scratches! I keep my phone in my pocket for most of the day and it is not as bulky as the OtterBox so it can come in and out of my pocket easily!

Just my 2 cents:)

Just found a new case. The SGP Neo Hybrid Matte Series, the Otterbox Commuter, or the Candyshell. Note that I currently have a Griffin Flexgrip Case right now, and I am not a fan of silicone but I can deal with it.
