O hai der guys,
My friends iPhone charges slow, even when it's off. My friend owns a iPhone 4s and when she plugs it in with a third party cable and USB adapter, the iPhone charges slow because the 30 pin cable connector pops out because it was in a wrong way, so we put it in the right way and teh problem persisted.
Any clues to help meh?
Thx

Try using the orginal cable and adapter. My iPhone 4S works 4 years and still in good condition. You can also go to the Apple Store and ask the genius to run a battery diagnosis, if the battery health falls under 80%, you can ask them to replace a new battery for you (you need to pay for it).

the usb charger you are using could just be a generic stock usb adapter that isn't smart enough to send the iPhone the 5 v @ 1000 ma it wants.

on the iPhone 4, I'm pretty sure it tops out 1000 ma max, so your iPad charger won't give it the extra current.the feature of ipad chargers charging iPhones at 2100 ma was a feature of the iPhone 6

if you have a mac and a 6s or 6s plus you are required to update to el capitan if you want your usb ports to give the phone a faster charge!!!

I'll be posting rough drawing of teh problem later

What does that say? It's fairly hard to read almost neon bright light green text on a white background that suddenly shows up out of nowhere in the middle of a post.

Here r the pics of the problem
The iPhone was charging for a few mins while uploading a video over cellular 4g, and it stayed at 1%.
the cable connector was popping out, so I put it in teh right way and the problem persists.

Sounds like it would be a good idea to try to clean out the charging port to make sure there's no lint or other debris in there, and also perhaps to try a different cable and a different charger as well to see if any of that makes a difference.
