Just pretend it isn't there by not looking for it. Problem solved.
DEAD PIXELS will eventually start to appear on our phones as years go by. My PSP originally had a few dead pixels and now has more than twice that. My 2G iPhone had zero dead pixels, and then two years later, showed a couple of them. Same with my Nokia N82.
It isn't mean to remain perfect forever. Just say you got the dead pixels a few years earlier than expected. Now if you got a few and they are grouped together, then there is a problem and send it back.
