Anyone else encountering a similar issue when using the LED flash?

Every photo I have taken with the Flash enabled is exactly the same -- all washed out. Anyone actually take a good photo with the flash?

I'm going to run by the genius bar a little later today and see what they have to say. I'll post back as soon as I find anything out.

Try it in a few different levels of light. It's not meant for taking pictures in the dark.

See if that makes a difference.

I don't have a phone yet, I'm just speculating on possible causes.

Also, it could be that the flash just sucks. Considering how small it is, I kind of assumed it was going to suck.

I thought it was crappy at first too..I had the same washed out look, but:

1) Remove the film from the back of the phone.. I had mine on and I think the plastic causes the light to disperse infront of the lens

2) make sure the flash is actually needed; if you force it on in a condition where it isn't needed you might get crappy photos

I just tested w/o the film on and the picture is 100% better..

You know what...I'm an idiot. You're 100% right thank you =) I'm not sure why I ever leave that stuff on for a day or two anyways.

dude...thank you so much. took the film off and bang. that did it

Did the same thing as you. Kept the back protector on and it was causing the washout in the pictures. Figured it out after thinking through it though. 😱

take the same picture now, and change your first post, so we can see side by side comparisons with and without film 😉

What????

Are you kidding me? You had the plastic on there?

I guess this rules out the idea of using a screen protector on the back now, huh? There was no chance I was using one anyway.

I think the Zagg has a cutout for the camera.
