Iphone 4 jailbreak-Will you

heck yeah i am. you almost have to be an idiot no to jailbreak. 3g unrestrictor = which means facetime over 3g and also mywi which is free tethering. /Thread

Nothing to lose, and everything to gain? Of course I'm in!

*Disclaimer* Yeah, I get that I will possibly lose warranty and/or support from Apple. I'm okay with that.
 
Seriously people need to start reading before they post. This whole people asking if there is a JB unlock is quite annoying.
 
Yes..for the multitasking.

While iOS4 does multitasking, there are way too many apps and it will be a long long time until they are updated to work with iOS4's way of multitasking.
Jailbreaking let's you multitask ANY app NOW.

So, yes, definitely jailbreaking! Plus, themes. Those folders are damn ugly and will definitely need to be replaced.

I'm sure for a lot of people iOS4 gives them all the features they need, but there are definitely still some essential features that Apple has yet to provide an official implementation for.
 
I will, but at this point mainly so I can test our paid apps before I decide to buy or not. Also MiWi, 3Gunrestrictor, and some random things here and there.
 
What's with all the speculating about apple and AT&T hitting the killswitch on jailbroken phones ...?

But I will jailbreak for tethering with mywi, FaceTime and YouTube over 3G in high quality. And sbsettings for quick access on all iPhone setting. Had 2g and 3GS both jailbroken and never had any wierd problems like losing visual voicemail

Just for SBSettings. Simple buried commands drive me crazy. Fast easy access to turn BT on/off, WiFi and brightness . Why cant Apple just address that?

It's basically impossible to actually brick a phone by jailbreaking it now. And the people that say that had problems with the phone after JB'ing, obviously didn't do it right. Done correctly, the phone has no problems at all.
 
Personally i cant see any reason for me to jailbreak now. Before getting the i4 i had a 3g which was jailbroke, the main reason i did it was for themes, video camera. I got a bit fed up having to respring/reboot all the time due to it lagging fequently. The only thing i miss now is the notification icons on the status bar for email, sms etc, but i dont miss it enough to jailbreak again. I also had instalous, its not missed that much though as im currently in the process of buying all the free apps back, so eventually the developers got their money from me and none of them missed out.
 
yes i will jb because facetime over 3g hq youtube blacklist sbsetting, jb will take my i4 to a whole new level. jb+i4+unlimited= best smartphone ever
 
I will. I miss being able to customize everything about the UI that I want to customize. I have never used jailbreaking to pirate apps or anything like that; all I like to do is get stuff like status bar notifier and Winterboard and BossPaper, stuff like that. Stuff that, in theory, one shouldn't need to jailbreak to get. :)
 
where is most definitely option? apple will never catch up to the jailbreak world of utilities and apps
